Several members of UA Circle K made a trip to Virginia Beach, Virginia, for the 2011 Circle K International Convention this past summer. The Convention lasted from June 22 - 26 and attendees enjoyed many events during their time in Virginia, including a dance for all Circle Kers present. The Convention even allowed for the participants to take a break and enjoy the local sites and especially the beach. UA Circle K hopes to have even more attendees at the 2012 International Convention, being held in New Orleans, Lousiana, June 27 - July 1, 2012.

Alabama friend Steven Spriggs, Immediate Past Governor of the Texas-Oklahoma District, was elected International President. Former Alabama Circle Ker represented his home club of UAB well when he made an outstanding showing in running for International Representative.
